Best Time to Visit Panna National Park

The best time to visit Panna National Park is from October to April, including post-monsoon and winter seasons. During this period, the weather is mild, with cooler temperatures making wildlife sightings more likely. The lush green vegetation after monsoon adds to the natural beauty of the park. Winter from November to February is particularly favourable, as the dry and cool weather provides an optimal safari experience. How To Reach Panna National Park?

Reaching Panna National Park involves several transportation options:

  • By Air: The nearest airport is Khajuraho Airport (25 km), well-connected to major cities. From there, taxis or buses can be hired to reach the park.

  • By Train: Satna Railway Station (90 km) is the closest major railhead. Another option is Khajuraho Railway Station (25 km). From these stations, one can hire a taxi or take a bus to Panna.

  • By Road: Panna is accessible by road via well-maintained highways. Regular bus services operate from nearby cities, and private taxis can be hired. Khajuraho is a common starting point for those traveling by road.

  • Self-Drive: Private vehicles or rental cars can be driven to Panna, with routes well-marked and road conditions generally good.

  • Panna National Park remains closed for evening safari on every Wednesday.
  • Panna National Park Core Zone Safari Remains closed from 1 July to 30 September Every Year
  • Visitors must carry the same ID proofs that that you have submitted during the safari booking
  • Dear Customer, Forest has proposed for rate increase if same get approved you will required to pay the difference amount at time of your safari at the park counter.
  • Booking can be cancel one day before from Safari date before 5:00 PM of Tiger Safari parks Cancellation amount will be calculated as per slab on department fees given in the Rule book plus Rs 100 will be charge as MPOnline cancellation fees for Full vehicle and Rs 20 per person in Single seat.
