The best time to visit Kanha Tiger Reserve is from the beginning of October to the end of June.
Kanha's fever reaches dangerously high levels. The maximum temperature throughout the summer season is about 43 degrees. Because of the weather, animals gather at the watercourses to satisfy their thirst. This is the perfect time to see tigers.
Winters can be bitterly cold. The meadows are frequently engulfed in frost during the winter. By that moment, the monsoon rains had revitalized Kanha's surroundings. It has a revitalizing effect. It's also when you'll see the most migratory birds.
Kanha National Park remains restricted to tourists during the monsoon season because the roads are impassable and it is the season of mating for animals.
From the 15th of October until the 30th of June. The following are the safari times in Kanha National Park:
The Jungle Safari at Kanha National Park, like any other National Park, is scheduled in two shifts every day. The number of Safari Jeeps available every shift is limited and cannot be increased at any expense. In Kanha, there is just one kind of tiger safari available to explore the forest's flora and fauna: Jeep Safari. The Kanha Tiger Park does not provide the Canter Safari or the Elephant Safari.
Other than a driver and a guide, a Jeep Safari can accommodate up to 6 people and 1 children. Every Jeep that goes on safari in the Kanha National Park must be accompanied by a jungle safari guide. Simply fill out the online form to book your tiger safari permit and avoid any hassles with Kanha Gypsy Booking during your visit to the park. You can also buy a Kanha vacation package that includes a Jeep safari, hotel accommodations, meals, and sightseeing in and around the Kanha National Park.
If you have any queries about our action-packed wildlife tour packages, tiger safari guided tours, or hotel stays in Kanha, please fill out the form.
Mukki, Kanha, Kisli, and Sarhi are the four zones that makeup Kanha National Park.
Kanha zone contains open meadows with grasslands and bamboo vegetation, which provide some unusual sightings. Shravan Taal is a popular tourist destination because it is said to be the site where King Dashrath slews Shravan Kumar after mistaking him for a deer.
Sarhi Zone features wide meadows and dry deciduous woodlands. Sarhi is reached via a common route that runs across the Kisli zone, passing through the tall Saal trees.
Good sightings have been reported in the Mukki Zone. Saal, bamboo, and grasslands make up the scenery.
Magnificent saal forests and picturesque grasslands with bamboo plants can also be found in the Kisli Zone.
You book Tiger Safari Zones separately when you schedule a jeep safari, yet you enter through separate gates. As a result, knowing which zones are favored through which of the three gates is critical. It is preferable to enter through the Khatia gate if you have reserved a safari in the Kanha or Kisli zones. It is preferable to enter Mukki Zone by Mukki Gate and Sarhi Zone through Sarhi Gate if you have reserved a Mukki zone.
You are technically free to enter any of the zones through any of the entry gates, but the paths are too long and complicated. We prefer mapping the zones to the entry gates for a better experience and a higher chance of sightings.
