1 Safari in kanha National Park
Hotel Kanha (Treasure In Forest) is wonderfully placed on the Mukki Gate Samnapur and is only a 3-minute walk from the National Park. Kanha Hotel has been serving tourists since 2010. Kanha Tiger Reserve is home to India's magnificent Tigers and a variety of animals, reptiles, and bird species. The upscale property is surrounded by the park's woods and traditional tribal communities in Samnapur, Madhya Pradesh, a central Indian state.
The Hotel Kanha (Treasure in the Forest) in Kanha offers a respite from the hurried world and an opportunity to experience the marvels of nature in India's wilds. In your jungle getaway, you'll enjoy the adventure of the forest, stunning scenery, the romance of brilliant sunrises and sunsets, and the comforts of home.
Kanha Treasure Resort is a well-equipped wildlife lodge with nicely fitted vernacular huts and rooms. The style is reminiscent of native tribal dwellings, with face drawings on the walls offering the resort the appearance of a hamlet. Luxury villas combine cultural elements with contemporary conveniences and luxury.
The Treasure In Forest Resort offers seven separate luxury cottages. Spacious with contemporary conveniences but traditional furnishings, individual air conditioners/heaters, tea/coffee machine, campfire services, BBQ, outdoor cottages, and natural list accessible at the resort. And the best linen. In the resort, we offer two splash pools, one for adults and one for children. After weary tiger excursions, the splash pools are ideal for a lively bath. The verandah is a sit-in that provides a peaceful view of Kanha's horizon.
The indigenous forest inhabitants of Kanha, the Gond, and the Baiga were shifting cultivators who used slash and burn tactics. They were among the best shikaris (hunters) in the nation, gathering forest products such as berries, honey, mushrooms, roots, and Mahua flowers.
The region was retained as a hunting estate in the 1800s. Using the ability of the native shikaris, involved shooting parties traversed the forest on elephants' backs. Ultimately, the country's tiger population plummeted to frightening levels, and hunting was prohibited.
Project Tiger was created in 1972 to reintroduce tigers to nine ideal places around the country, including Kanha National Tiger Reserve. It entailed establishing an inner core region - from which all communities were evacuated - and an outside buffer zone, where agricultural activities such as cattle grazing and collecting forest produce and fallen timber would take place. The meadows we see now within the reserve are the historic settlement grounds.
Kanha National Park management includes the preservation of waterways and grass types. Forest fires are managed with firelines and watchtowers. Patrolling is done by specialized staff from outposts on foot and elephant back. Tigers are tracked using video traps, pugmark verification, and radio-collared animals.
Poaching and forest encroachment continue to be the tiger's most serious worldwide threats, both of which threaten Kanha but are mostly under control.
Kanha Tiger Reserve is best visited between the months of October and June.
Temperatures in the Kanha Treasure Resort are exceptionally high. During the summer season (April to June), the peak temperature is around 43 degrees. It is the best time to see tigers since animals congregate near water sources to cool down due to the heat. Winters may be bitterly chilly (November to February). In the winter, frost frequently blankets the pastures. By that time, the monsoon rains had already rejuvenated Kanha's surroundings. It has a rejuvenating effect. It is also the best time to observe migratory birds.
The Kanha National Park is closed to visitors during the southwest monsoon season, which runs from July to September because the roads are inaccessible.
Regarding housing, there is a bizarre bazaar established around the National Park. You will find the most appropriate lodging option, ranging from Kanha's luxury accommodations to the most extravagant budget motels. Reservations should be made ahead of time to avoid inconvenience.
